The rules of using SalaryScope AI

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SalaryScope AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Continued use after we update these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

2. What we provide

SalaryScope AI is a personal salary intelligence tool for Indian tech professionals. The current scope of the service:

Features marked "Coming soon" on the landing page are not part of the current service and are not guaranteed to ship on any particular schedule.

3. Your responsibilities

1. 01Accurate inputs. Provide truthful role, experience, city, and compensation details. Garbage inputs produce garbage benchmarks, and benchmark aggregates suffer when inputs are dishonest.
2. 02Account security. Keep your sign-in credentials private and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
3. 03Lawful use. Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, billing, or access controls.
4. 04Respect aggregate data. Reports are licensed for your personal career decisions. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish report contents commercially without prior written permission.

4. Payments & refunds

Pricing model

SalaryScope AI uses a one-time purchase model — there are no subscriptions and no auto-renewals. You buy a single report or a credit pack, generate reports as you need them, and that's it. Pricing in INR is shown on the pricing page and includes applicable taxes where required.

Processing

Payments are processed by Cashfree (a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway). We never see or store your card number, CVV, or UPI PIN. After a successful payment, the corresponding report credits are added to your account.

Refunds

If a report fails to generate due to a technical error on our side, the corresponding credit is automatically refunded back to your account and you can retry without paying again.

For any other refund request, email contact@salaryscopeai.com within 7 days of purchase, describing the issue. We evaluate requests case by case and aim to resolve them within 7 working days.

5. AI disclaimer

SalaryScope AI uses large language models (Anthropic Claude) to generate salary benchmarks, hike scores, switch scores, and negotiation talking points. All outputs are indicative analyses based on the inputs you provide and publicly available market data — they are not financial, legal, tax, or professional advice.

Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific salary increase, hike, promotion, or offer based on the reports we produce.

6. Intellectual property

The SalaryScope AI service — including the platform, our brand, copy, designs, and the structure of our reports — is the exclusive property of SalaryScope AI and its licensors. The text and data inside a report you generate is licensed to you for personal career use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, attempt to scrape the service, or abuse rate limits, without prior notice when necessary to protect the platform.

7. Liability & changes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalaryScope AI, its founders, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
