- 2Compiled into Insights, Current Trends, and salary guides
A monthly editorial pass. Not a live scrape of every offer letter.
How we decode market worth
SalaryScope AI is a salary intelligence and compensation benchmarking platform for India's technology workforce. Two products, two different engines: a free in-hand calculator, and a paid report that starts from the profile you submit.

Public pages compile named 2026 hiring and hike reports. Paid reports are generated from your intake. Insights does not automatically pour a proprietary observation file into your scores.
PUBLIC PAGES
A monthly editorial pass. Not a live scrape of every offer letter.
PAID REPORT
No automatic pipe from Insights into your scores.
The path the product actually runs after you click generate — intake, one credit, then two AI passes in a background job.
Reports need an account.
Plans start at ₹11. No credit? Buy first.
Role, YOE, city, company type, CTC. Files optional.
Scores first, then the narrative. Your CTC is not rewritten.
Saved to your account. Failures refund the credit.
If generation fails, that credit is refunded. Optional resume or offer files stay with your intake — they are not a payslip verification programme.
No account and no AI. CTC minus PF, professional tax, extras, and estimated income tax becomes a planning take-home for FY 2026–27. Open the in-hand calculator.

Planning take-home — not Form 16, not a market percentile
Editorial Insights and Current Trends compile named public reports — Naukri JobSpeak, Xpheno hiring outlooks, TeamLease and Aon hike surveys, and role-specific public rate cards. We do not publish a verified payslip sample size.
A report starts from the role, experience, city, skills, and CTC you provide, plus an optional resume. We normalise titles and cities enough to compare like with like. We do not invent missing years or a secret company list.
Market ranges determine the band. Your CTC is placed in a percentile-style frame for that role, city, and company type. Exact observation counts and the closed-form percentile math are not published as a scientific dataset.
AI drafts the scores, switch framing, and negotiation language around that band. Market data determines the benchmark framing. AI helps explain what the benchmark means for your next conversation — it does not invent a new salary table from verified payslips.
Public pages use cited market reports and editorial synthesis. Product reports use your submitted profile. We do not claim a scrape of every Indian offer letter. We do not claim payslip verification or a published company-count.
Titles are grouped to a role family (for example software engineer versus Android). Experience is the years you enter. Location is the city you enter. Company type is one of startup, product, service, or MNC — the split that matters most in the 2026 editorial tables. Browse salary guides for sourced planning ranges.
Reports talk in percentile language (where your CTC sits versus a compiled band). We do not publish the raw observation file or an outlier-trimming paper. Treat P50/P75 language as a decision aid.
Insights currently carries an editorial stamp of 12 September 2026. Blogs were refreshed in the same window. There is no automatic crawl of third-party PDFs. See Insights for the named sources list.
Estimated compensation is not guaranteed compensation. Bonus inside CTC, uncapped PF, HRA claims, surcharge, and company recoveries move the credit. Two offers with the same headline CTC can differ in monthly cash.
Account and report data handling is described in the privacy policy: TLS in transit, database encryption at rest via the hosted Postgres provider, and no sale of your data to third parties. We do not claim SOC 2 or a named encryption product beyond that policy.
No. You may optionally upload a resume, offer letter, or appraisal letter so the report has more context. That is file storage for your intake, not a verification or census of Indian offers.
The paid report asks the model to place your stated CTC against realistic 2026 India bands for role, city, years of experience, company type, and skills. It is not a query against a published SalaryScope observation table. Treat P50/P75 language as a planning aid.
No. There are two free tools. The homepage range preview is a simple formula from role, years, and CTC — a directional sketch, not observed salaries. The in-hand calculator is FY 2026–27 tax and statutory math. Neither is the paid report, which uses your full intake plus compiled 2026 India market bands.
The intake is marked failed and the report credit for that run is refunded. You can submit again when the service is available.
No. Insights, blogs, and salary guides compile named public reports on a separate editorial track. The paid report is generated from the profile you submit plus the model's 2026 India market framing.
Identifiers stay with your account. Reports are for career decisions, not for sharing with employers unless you choose to. Questions: contact support or About.
Start with in-hand math, then decide if you want a full report.
