In-Hand Salary from 15 LPA in India (2026)
A planning number after PF, professional tax, and the new regime — not your friend’s WhatsApp math
People want one number. Payroll will not give them one number.
On our FY 2026–27 new-regime planner, a ₹15 LPA CTC with ₹1,800 employee PF, ₹1,800 employer PF, ₹200 professional tax, and no bonus lands near ₹1.13 lakh a month and about ₹13.6 lakh a year. Income tax is no longer zero at this CTC — that is the whole point of the ₹12 lakh taxable story.
If 10% bonus sits *inside* CTC, monthly cash drops because that ₹1.5 lakh is not in your April–March salary credits the way basic is. Annual take-home can still include it when it actually pays.
Karnataka / Maharashtra professional tax near ₹200 a month is a rounding error next to PF. Uncapped PF on a fat basic is not.
