Flutter Developer Salary in India 2026: What Dual-Platform Actually Pays
Junior to lead bands, where Flutter sits vs native Android, and the skills that still earn a premium
Flutter hiring in India did not disappear in 2026. It just stopped pretending every mobile job is a Flutter job.
Product companies and a slice of GCCs still pay for one codebase that ships Android and iOS. IT services still staff Flutter when a client asked for it last quarter. Those two buyers do not share a salary table.
What the 2026 bands actually look like
Planning ranges we see most often (cash CTC, India):
| Level | Typical CTC |
|---|---|
| Junior (0–2 years) | ₹4.5–10 LPA |
| Mid (3–6 years) | ₹11–21 LPA |
| Senior (6–10 years) | ₹21–45 LPA |
| Lead / principal | ₹42–70 LPA |
A services fresher on Flutter can still sit near ₹3.5–5 LPA. A product fresher on the same stack can open above ₹12 LPA. The language did not change. The buyer did.
Rate cards published in August 2026 (Second Talent and similar) put senior Flutter in India roughly below native Android and well below iOS on an hourly basis. That is the tell: Flutter is priced as leverage, not as a scarce native craft — unless you can prove the scarce part.
Where the premium still lives
The people clearing the top of the senior band are not “I can run `flutter build apk`.” They own:
- platform channels and plugin work when Flutter is not enough
- start-up time, jank, and memory on low-end Android (most of India)
- release trains for two stores without a second team
- a little native Kotlin or Swift so they are not blocked when a channel breaks
That last point is why a strong Android engineer who *also* ships Flutter often out-earns a Flutter-only profile with the same years.
If you are comparing an offer, do not use “Flutter average.” Use employer type, city, and whether the work is product ownership or staff-aug. Then check the in-hand, because a 10% bonus inside CTC will lie to you on monthly cash.
